So its your big day! By the end of the day, your home will be jolly & bright!  Here's what to expect on the day of your installation and through the 2023 holiday season:

1. PAYMENT - Payment is due on the day of installation unless other arrangements have been made. We accept cash, checks, (Made out to Heart Lighting & Electrical), Venmo,  Zelle, or credit card (3% fee).  

2. LIGHTS - If  you store own lights, please set the tote outside on the morning of your installation. Usually our customers choose to place them on the porch, by the garage, or even right behind the fence gate. Please let us know where they are located. 

3. EXACT ARRIVAL TIMES - Unfortunately, we are unable to give exact arrival times for lighting installations. We can however give a time range for your installation the night before, if requested and update you on a more exact time the day of. 

4. THE CUSTOMER - For the majority of our residential installations, the customer is not required to be home. We will let you know if your install requires someone to be at the residence.

5. ADDITIONAL REQUESTS - Since we have such a tight holiday schedule, same day requests are up to the discretion of the installer and may incur additional charges. Please try to make any additional requests at least a week ahead, so we can make sure to have the additional materials available. ​

6. INCLEMENT WEATHER - Your installation date may change due to inclement weather, or any other unforeseen circumstances. If this happens, we will notify you ASAP and try our hardest to install your lights as close to the canceled day as possible. 

7. MAINTENANCE - All of our installation services comes with free maintenance during the holiday. If there are any issues, we prefer you to use our online maintenance request form on the Heart for the Holidays website, or you can TEXT us (210-975-6119). Please notify us as soon as you see an issue, with your address and description of the problem (with photos, if possible). For residential customers, please allow 24-48 hours for your repair. (Please note: Damage by human or animals is not warrantied & could possibly incur an additional fee.)

8. LIGHT REMOVAL: We book installation removal appointments in multi-day time frames  at the time of the initial installation booking. To make things more efficient for our customers and company, we will group removal appointments for those who live in the same general areas and requested the same block of days. We try our best to honor the removal time frame of your choice. We will  notify you a few days in advance, of your exact date via the email you provided at the time of booking.
